Accessibility Statement

I am committed to providing a digitally accessible experience for people of all abilities. I’m working to improve my personal and professional digital work to adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and welcome any suggestions for improvement.

Measures to Support Accessibility

I have taken the following actions to improve accessibility:

  • I have taken W3C’s Intro to Accessibility training course and presented core learnings to the larger Pocket Prep team
  • I built this personal portfolio website with WCAG in mind, and plan to take Webflow's Accessibility Course December 2024 to improve further.
  • I am committed to growing as an accessibility-minded designer and an advocate of accessible products on the product teams I work on as I progress in my career

Conformance Status

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines outline requirements for designers and developers to build an accessible experience for all users. I am working towards full conformance to WCAG 2.1 AA. Some elements of our web product do not adhere fully to AA at this time:

  • Not all containers pass 3:1 contrast ratio
  • Text spacing can overlap when zoomed
  • Not all views go down to 320px width
  • Text loading animations, though quick, cannot be turned off
  • My resume PDF is not accessible at this time
  • Some headers and links may not be properly marked
  • No "Skip to Main Content" link - coming Dec 2024

Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Edge
